Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries in the San Antonio metro area
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and efficiency
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route planning and timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain digital records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and hazardous materials handling (if applicable)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- No preventable accidents in the past 3 years
