Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (semi-trucks, tankers, or flatbeds) on assigned routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel usage
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Document delivery paperwork and handle exceptions professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Southwest routes
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
