Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Swift Transport professionally at all delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Texas highways
- Basic cargo securement and hazmat familiarity (preferred)
- Strong work ethic and reliability focus
