Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Florida
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Deliver freight on schedule while maintaining excellent customer service
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Secure and verify cargo before and after transit
- Report maintenance issues and participate in vehicle upkeep
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways and traffic laws
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including early mornings
