Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT guidelines
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Secure and verify cargo at pickup and delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-3 nights per week)
- Pass background check and MVR review
