Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Tampa Bay and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely adherence to scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pick-up interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and efficiency
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Tampa-area traffic patterns and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required
