Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across NYC metro routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Report vehicle maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery regulations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for early morning/late evening shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
