Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and local deliveries
- Inspect and maintain assigned trucks to ensure DOT compliance
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
