Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across Texas and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Manage delivery timelines and optimize route efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism in client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
- Willingness to obtain hazmat endorsement (if applicable)
