Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and traffic conditions in Oakland metro area
- Maintain strict adherence to FMCSA safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision and professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Familiarity with Oakland/Bay Area road networks
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
