Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload cargo with appropriate equipment and safety measures
- Address minor mechanical issues and coordinate maintenance services
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Minneapolis metro area and regional highways
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and hazardous materials (HAZMAT certification a plus)
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
