Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van refrigerated) for local and regional routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Represent Global Logistics professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Columbus metro area and Ohio highway system
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekends
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
