Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Seattle and surrounding regions
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and verify shipment accuracy
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route updates
- Strictly comply with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and report any maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Washington State traffic regulations
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
