Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes and manage delivery schedules to meet deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Complete required paperwork (bills of lading, delivery confirmations)
- Represent Raleigh Logistics Solutions professionally at all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Knowledge of North Carolina roadways and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
