Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport freight between warehouses, distribution centers, and client locations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries
- Coordinate with dispatch teams and clients for smooth loading/unloading operations
- Complete required paperwork including delivery confirmations and incident reports
- Maintain clean driving record and participate in ongoing training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
