Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods within New Orleans metro area and Southeast region
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient routing
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling
- Communicate delivery status to clients and dispatch
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M min)
- Reliable box truck (2008+ model preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
