Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment, ensuring weight distribution and safety.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Perform routine vehicle cleaning and basic maintenance checks.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) in possession.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks at loading docks.
