Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict schedules and delivery timelines while navigating various terrains.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
