Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on regional routes within the Pacific Northwest.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Keep the truck clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Required: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B).
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to Train: No prior driving experience required; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Background Check: Clean driving record and background check.
- Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
