Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and timesheets.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Drive in a professional manner to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for toll and fuel calculations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
