Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks and tractor-trailers to deliver freight across the Midwest region on time and within regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load & Unload: Securely load cargo and perform light duties to unload freight at delivery locations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Customer Service: Represent the company professionally and ensure customer satisfaction with every delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (Entry Level candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US and pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong ability to read maps, use GPS, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
