Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and records for all trips, adhering to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image and adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) issued in the United States.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn truck systems.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to safety.
