Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding routes and delivery schedules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (drug screen included).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
