Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries in diverse weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat placarding and documentation (Hazmat preferred)
- Strong knowledge of El Paso and surrounding regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overnight trips
