Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas and neighboring states
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and shipping documentation
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment while following safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adapt to changing schedules and routes while maintaining on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts as needed
