Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections, trip planning, and accurate documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain electronic logs and communicate with dispatch in real-time
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to operate manual transmission and handle 53ft trailers
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and regional geography
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Must pass comprehensive background check
