Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within Washington DC metropolitan area
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations on strict deadlines
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Manage loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Washington DC traffic regulations and routes
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
