Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently within the San Antonio metropolitan area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload freight with care, ensuring cargo integrity and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
