Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Florida
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Florida highway systems and regulations
