Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently across the United States.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure full compliance with safety regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage and ensure highway safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork in strict adherence to FMCSA guidelines.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, based on operational needs.
