Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) delivering freight across Baltimore and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Coordinate with remote dispatch team via mobile app for real-time route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Support warehouse operations when required (forklift certification a plus)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile dispatch apps
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
