Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes across Texas and Southwest
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and load optimization
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather and road conditions
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation systems
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
