Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS technology and pre-planned schedules
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized cargo areas and secure loads according to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
