Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Deliver freight to distribution centers across Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logs (ELD)
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding route status and delays
- Represent company professionally at all customer locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and climb trailer steps
- Familiarity with Texas roadways and weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for daily pay app and ELD systems
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends/holidays as needed)
