Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) safely and efficiently
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Manage route planning, delivery schedules, and time-sensitive shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation
- Represent SwiftHaul professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
- Basic math skills for load calculations and documentation
