Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Seattle and surrounding areas
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status and issues
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and ensure compliance with all federal/state regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area and Washington State highways
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check
- Twic card preferred (not required for application)
