Job Summary
We are looking for professional drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across the region. You will be responsible for ensuring cargo is delivered on time and in perfect condition while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) on designated routes in San Jose and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
