Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in Sacramento metro area
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage loading/unloading operations at client sites
- Optimize routes to maximize delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license
- 1+ year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Sacramento area routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
