Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or B vehicles to deliver freight on time and in pristine condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
