Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for multi-state freight delivery
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Manage efficient route planning to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and southeastern US highways
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend assignments as needed
