Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo to destinations in Portland, OR, and surrounding California areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (ELD, DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo securely to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
