Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) for multi-state routes between Portland, OR, and California
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate dispatch updates and delays proactively
- Support warehouse operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic freight handling and securement knowledge
- Strong communication skills and route navigation proficiency
- Flexibility for overnight travel (Portland-CA routes)
