Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently and securely.
- Complete all necessary pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and paperwork.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and compliance with all state and federal laws.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT) and Dual Commercial License.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
