Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van or reefers) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Use electronic logging devices (ELD) for compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with electronic logging systems
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay area and Florida highways
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning start times
