Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure all DOT regulations and safety protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with San Antonio metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement
