Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional routes
- Complete deliveries on strict timelines while maintaining zero-accident records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Document all delivery exceptions and customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Strong knowledge of Cleveland metro area and surrounding routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
