Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, securing loads properly to prevent damage or accidents.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, electronic logging devices (ELD), and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
