Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) following DOT regulations
- Complete multi-stop delivery routes with on-time performance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route adjustments and load tracking
- Ensure proper cargo securement and documentation compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD) compliance
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems and route planning
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight travel and weekend shifts
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided)
