Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California's highway system
- Basic knowledge of freight loading/unloading procedures
- Strong time management and communication skills
