Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules while prioritizing safety
- Assist in training new drivers on company procedures and route navigation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation apps
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to pass mandatory background check
- Must reside within 50 miles of Omaha, NE
